Tis the Season!

Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a joyous and spectacular time with your loved ones this Christmas and Christmas Eve! The holidays can be so hectic and stressful, but it is important to take a breath and remember that the Christmas spirit is truly to take the time to be thankful and appreciative of life and family. To take a step back and appreciate the smallest of moments and remember to be kind to not only others, but to ourselves. We can be so mean and hard on ourselves. It's important to remember to love and appreciate and be prod of ourselves and who we are. I love this time of year and I think it is important to carry the feeling and spirit of this time all year long. This week I went skiing and had such great time! I also went to the river of lights and the was dos of fun too! Monday 12/23/19: Cardio Elliptical Tuesday 12/24/19: Rest Wednesday 12/25/19: Cardio Run  I was able to run 7 miles! I finally made it past 4! I only ran once this

New Plan! What's to come?!?!

Good evening everyone! I am finally on time (shocking I know). Everything has been super hectic and busy. This week was so long. I worked longer days because I have so much to do at work and was going to be losing time due to the holidays. Needless to say, I am beyond glad I made it to the weekend and had a chance to recharge. My batteries were definitely on empty. I had been feeling lost with my workouts all week since I had not yet figured out what my plans were. What are my next steps? What are my goals? Do I want to train for another marathon (yes, but that has to wait until my knee situation gets figured out)? Do I want to train for a personal best half marathon (yes, but same deal with knee)? I kept asking myself all of these questions. What's next? Then, I saw a lean muscle challenge from Kaged Muscle that I want to try! It starts January 6, 2020. Good evening everyone! Sorry for the two week delay! I meant to have this post out yesterday, but was having internet issues. I was out of town last weekend in Las Vegas! Then, this week was super busy with work and getting stuff done that I could not over the weekend. Plus, it was my birthday this week! :) Things have been really busy, but also really good! I started my two-week no added sugar! Details below! I also finished listening to the audio books for Harry Potter! It was definitely a different experience. With all the books read (listened to), I plan on watching the movies! Yay! Currently on the 5th one!!! I also really want to restart the audio books 😂. I just love Harry Potter so much! Anyways, below are my workouts! Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Good evening all you turkies! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Mine was great! Busy, busy day. Hosting was a lot of work, but it was so worth it. I was really happy with how everything turned out. My family really liked everything. I made healthier versions of chocolate pecan pie, pumpkin pie, lemon bars, and a chocolate birthday cake for my Dad's birthday! Everyone loved that a lot! I plan on making it for Christmas! I also made healthier versions of mashed potatoes, cauliflower mash, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, and gluten-free dinner rolls. I was so happy my brother liked the dinner. rolls. He can be picky and has not always liked the gluten free versions of bread I have made. I am definitely going to make him more and also make some from Christmas as well.
